Zomato partnered with Don Bosco Network to feed the migrants
Zomato Internet Pvt. Ltd partnered with Don Bosco Network to feed the migrants and daily-wage labourers as part of the Don Bosco Solidarity COVID 19 relief. BOSCO Delhi, partner of Don Bosco Network, distributed ration kits to 80 people in Bada Hindu Rao, near Sarai Rohilla.
Most of the people from this area are rickshaw pullers, waiters, domestic workers etc. Additionally, 450 ration kits were distributed in Gandhinagar in East Delhi. These ration kits rescued daily wagers from starvation as the COVID 19 lockdown has robbed them of their daily income.
The Don Bosco Network in India comprises of 11 Planning and Development Organisations (PDOs), each dedicated to the development of the Salesian provinces they serve. The Don Bosco network is spread across 29 states and 354 NGOs, reaching more than 10 lakh people.
