75 Vulnerable Children Receive Aadhaar Cards
Living under the Palam Bridge are families whose livelihoods depend on daily incomes. Not only do they struggle hard to make ends meet, but upon further research, it was found that many children of these families did not have any identification documents, meaning they could not get any benefits from the government.
To help them get an identification, Aadhaar camps were organised at Don Bosco Ashalayam, Palam. Due to these camps, 75 children between the ages of 0 to 18 obtained Aadhaar cards
The Don Bosco Network in India comprises of 11 Planning and Development Organisations (PDOs), each dedicated to the development of the Salesian provinces they serve. The Don Bosco network is spread across 29 states and 354 NGOs, reaching more than 10 lakh people.
