UN recognizes the efforts of Don Bosco YaR

In April, the UN recognized the efforts of Maheshwari Balan, a data analyst and intervention planner from Don Bosco YaR. Working with over 100 child care centers in 19 States of India, he ensures services to street/missing children, children experiencing violence, and HIV/AIDS infected and affected, through digital documentation.
To help the missing children return back to their home, Don Bosco YaR also employs online biometric platforms such as Child MISS Mobile App and Child PPA (People Protection App),

The Don Bosco Network in India comprises of 11 Planning and Development Organisations (PDOs), each dedicated to the development of the Salesian provinces they serve. The Don Bosco network is spread across 29 states and 354 NGOs, reaching more than 10 lakh people.
