Skilling the future of India

Out of the 423 million young people in India, every 1 in 3 sits idle. Young people lack social protection, income benefits in case of sickness, and are at risk through inadequate access to universal health care.

Don Bosco Network promotes opportunities for the well-being of young people, without any form of discrimination. Don Bosco Network actively implements different projects to enable youth to become self-reliant and productive citizens.

To improve the employability and earning potential, skill training and job placement assistance was provided to unskilled youth in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu.

Under this project, 80 unemployed and unskilled youth acquired technical skills to get better job opportunities and placement guidance.
