Home Credit and Don Bosco Network Join Hands for COVID-19 Relief.
As covered in the press, Home Credit India Finance Pvt. Ltd. and Don Bosco Network (Bosconet) partnered to benefit 4000 families, around 20000 people in Gurugram, Haryana. This Home Credit- Don Bosco Nework COVID-19 relief is in the form of a provision kit containing Rice (steamed rice)-5 kg, Atta (wheat flour)- 5 kg, Channa dal (lentils)- 2 kg, Sugar – 1 kg, Mustard oil -1 l, Salt – 1 kg, Soap 3 nos.
Don Bosco Network (Bosconet) planned the relief work with the cooperation of the relevant government authorities. The distribution process was supported by the police personnel of the local DLF-I GGN Police Station. The local panchayat officials were also taken on board for the relief operations in these areas. Don Bosco Network appreciates the response and
immense services of the volunteers, police and related departments during this distribution.
This COVID-19 relief effort by Don Bosco Network (Bosconet) and Home Credit is a vital intervention to prevent the death of hope for those most vulnerable people affected by the pandemic and its consequences. As the campaign tag says, together we can win.
The Don Bosco Network in India comprises of 11 Planning and Development Organisations (PDOs), each dedicated to the development of the Salesian provinces they serve. The Don Bosco network is spread across 29 states and 354 NGOs, reaching more than 10 lakh people.
