In addition to providing cooked food, food kits, hygiene and dignity kits, Don Bosco Network’s partner in Tamil Nadu, SURABI took up other initiatives as part of the Don Bosco Solidarity COVID 19 relief.

They introduced thermal scanning in the Young at Risk institutions. They also collaborated with Niraivagam, the Don Bosco Institute of Psychological Studies to provide free tele-counselling for anyone in need. During these distressing times, the team of counsellors offered psychological support in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English, Malayalam, Gujarathi and Kannada.
