Don Bosco Network aids 900 families in Delhi

Don Bosco Network with the support of community volunteers and its local network, identified various locations such as Najafgarh, Aaya Nagar and Sarita Vihar in Delhi where people required aid. Families in these areas earn their living as rag pickers, casual labourers, household help etc. and are struggling to make an income these days because of the increasing spread of COVID 19.

Between 1 to 9 August 2020, our team went to different locations to distribute 900 ration kits to such families. Each kit consisted of rice 5 kg, atta (wheat flour) 5 kg, cooking oil 1 ltr, channa dal 1 kg, salt 1 kg, washing/bathing soaps 2 nos.

Don Bosco Network thanks its partner Jugend Eine Welt for its generous support in extending this help to people in distress in Delhi.
