NAVRATRI  Festival Celebration with Slum Children

14-October-2018, Vadodara (Gujarat)Roshni Don Bosco organized the Navratri festival from 10th October to 13th October for the slum children from the city who attend the daily educational support classes. Around 600 children participated in these celebrations held under the aegis of ‘Children Education Project’ supported by Manos Unidas, Spain.

Children played Garba for 2-3 hours every day on the tunes of traditional music. The music system was arranged by the SHG women. Students came in traditional colorful dresses of Chaniya Cholis and Kurtas. The Navratri festival was celebrated with great joy and vigour. Navratri is one of the very popular festival in Gujarat.
