The young taking charge of water conservation
Partnering with Zomato to spread holiday cheer, Don Bosco Network-Bosconet distributed 69 boxes of chocolate on 12 December 2020 through its partner SURABI in Chennai,Tamil Nadu.
The variety of chocolates delighted 907 young and old residents of various institutions in Kadambathur, Old Washermanpet, Vyasarpadi, Madhavaram and Mathur in Chennai. They included children from the slums and streets, children living with HIV, semi-orphans, youngsters released from prison, children from the Irular community, people living with leprosy and residents of old-age homes.
The Don Bosco Network in India comprises of 11 Planning and Development Organisations (PDOs), each dedicated to the development of the Salesian provinces they serve. The Don Bosco network is spread across 29 states and 354 NGOs, reaching more than 10 lakh people.
