Acting on the wrong information can be harmful. In the first 3 months of 2020, nearly 6,000 people around the globe were hospitalized because of corona virus misinformation, recent research suggests.

The alumni of Don Bosco have come together to pool their resources, contacts and connections to help people fight COVID and churn out misinformation. They have made a group, consisting of doctors that respond to requests related to medicines, oxygen availability, hospital beds, plasma, and vaccines flood and offer advice.

The alumni, including Dr. Varun Khullar, and his NGO, Chhoti Chhoti Khushiyan, Dr Kenshuk Marwah, Medical professionals- Dr Vivek Saini, Dr Aseem Gulati, Dr Ashish Gupta, Dr Ankur Kataria have been also extending efforts by providing medical services, food, and dry rations to COVID infected and the needy.
