Across Palghar (Maharashtra) and Ramanathapuram (Tamil Nadu), 1,967 children from marginalised communities were supported during 2023–24 through structured remedial education and life skills training. The project, “Supportive Education and Empowerment Program” (SEEP), focused on strengthening foundational learning and awareness. Implemented by Bosconet in collaboration with MSM-Worldwide Factual Media Pvt. Ltd., the program combined classroom support with child rights education, teacher training, and parental engagement to improve overall learning outcomes.
Key Interventions & Impact
● Delivered remedial education to 1,967 children (960 in Maharashtra and 1,007 in Tamil Nadu)
● Conducted 320 sessions on child rights and life skills
● Formed and trained 64 Children’s Parliament sessions for local engagement
● Organised 5 teacher trainings and 9 monthly review meetings
● Engaged parents through regular meetings and home visits
● Strengthened classroom practices through activity-based learning methods
Improving Learning and Participation
The program recorded zero dropouts, with over 80% of children showing academic improvement and increased classroom confidence. Around 90% of children demonstrated awareness of their rights, while teacher capacity improved through interactive methods. Stronger parent involvement and active Children’s Parliaments contributed to more consistent engagement and better learning environments.
