
Focused on connecting job-seekers to meaningful employment, the project Empowering Livelihoods and Fostering Economic Inclusivity was implemented during 2023–2024 across Delhi, Trichy, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dimapur, Guwahati, and Kolkata by Bosconet with the support of Macquarie Global Services Pvt. Ltd. Through the Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DB- JPN), the programme supported migrants and underserved youth with training, digital platforms, and employer linkages for improved livelihood opportunities.
Key Interventions & Impact
● Conducted 145 training programs on resume building, interview skills, and industry readiness
● Partnered with 145 recruiters to enable job placements
● Created over 18,000 job opportunities through drives and referrals
● Reached 16,000+ job seekers through outreach, job fairs, and media engagement
● Enabled access to a web portal and mobile app for job information and applications
● Equipped 9,148 migrant youth with employability skills
● Facilitated 6,270 job placements across locations
Expanding Access to Employment Opportunities
The program improved access to formal employment, with many candidates securing jobs with benefits such as EPF and ESI. By bridging gaps between job seekers and employers, Bosconet contributed to more inclusive workforce participation and reduced barriers in the employment ecosystem.
