Nutrition Support for Improved Child Well-being

Food insecurity significantly impacts the health and development of children in vulnerable situations. During 2023–24, through the Mission No Child Hungry initiative, Bosconet addressed this need by ensuring consistent access to nutritious meals and essential care. Implemented in Shillong, Meghalaya, in partnership with Give Foundation, the program supported 19 children aged 5–18 by strengthening their nutritional intake and overall well-being.

Key Interventions & Impact
● Provided four balanced and nutritious meals daily to 19 children
● Distributed dry rations to ensure continuity of food support
● Conducted regular health check-ups and biannual BMI monitoring
● Offered life skills training and counselling support

Strengthening Health and Well-being
The initiative led to improved nutritional outcomes and better overall health among beneficiaries. By ensuring consistency in food access and care, Bosconet created a stable foundation for children’s physical growth, daily functioning, and long-term well-being.
